Who's the newlywed?!

Danny Pintauro married his boyfriend of two years, Wil Tabares, today on the beach in Dana Point, Calif.

"There were people here today at our wedding who I've known forever and ever, and those people turned to me and said 'I would never have believed in a million years 10 years ago that you'd actually be able to get married and call someone your husband, legally. It's amazing! What a terrific day," Pintauro, 38, exclusively tells E! News.

"We had everyone important here and everyone special. And those who couldn't be here were able to watch us from afar via Livestream."

The former Who's the Boss star and Tabares got engaged exactly one year ago—and Tabares popped the question on their one-year anniversary during a trip to Palm Springs.

After Pintauro said yes, he told Us Weekly, which was first to report the happy nuptial news today, that he and Tabares planned to tie the knot in California as soon as Proposition 8, which prevented legal gay marriages, was overturned.

Last June, the U.S. Supreme Court refused to hear a challenge to a lower court ruling that Prop 8 was unconstitutional, thereby paving the way once again for legal same-sex nuptials to resume in the Golden State.

Pintauro and Tabares each wore a cream-colored suit with a lavender boutonniere on their big day.

"Without being too cliché, I now know what all the hype is about," Tabares told E! News. "Today has been a dream come true. I couldn't have chosen a better beach to get married on. Our friends and family are absolutely amazing and have been completely supportive. And I appreciate all of the support around the world, which has been overwhelming."
