Kendrick and Taran Killam run the gambit of comedy in the new spots, from harmonizing to April Fools pranks.
The Pitch Perfect star makes her hosting debut on Saturday, April 5 with musical guest Pharrell. What could be more fun? When asked to guess, Kendrick came up with: "Sumo wrestling in doughnut batter? A mansion full of monkey butlers? A tickle fight with puppies while I'm wearing a bikini made of bacon?"
The two harmonized, revealed their dreams and of course sang together. You can't expect SNL to have the star of Pitch Perfect and the upcoming The Last Five Years and Into the Woods and not have her do some singing.
Following Kendrick's SNL hosting debut is Seth Rogen. Rogen will make his third hosting appearance in Studio 8H on Saturday, April 12. Ed Sheeran will make his SNL debut alongside Rogen.
Next up for Kendrick is Happy Christmas due out summer 2014. Pitch Perfect 2 is also in the works with Kendrick and Rebel Wilson attached to star. Elizabeth Banks will direct.
