While preparing to take off into the air after boarding, passengers seated on a Virgin flight leaving Brisbane were treated to a surprise performance by the Australian cast of the musical The Lion King.
In a YouTube video that captures the magic, castmates all seated together on the flight begin belting out the show's famous song "Circle of Life." The ballad booms through the cabin as a few passengers find their seats and others watch the impromptu show.
The song culminates with a powerful crescendo to the amazement of other passengers, who begin clapping and cheering once the performance is over.
"We've all been treated to a beautiful song from the cast of The Lion King," a flight attendant then announces over the speakerphone.
