Most 17-year-old's go through all kinds of mental anguish to hide their pimples, but Lorde wants to point her acne out to the real world!

The Grammy-winning "Royals" singer, who doesn't turn 18 until Nov. 7, regularly allows her fans to see her true self and not just the airbrushed version.

On Sunday, Taylor Swift's BFF tweeted a split-screen picture showing two photo versions of herself: The top image depicts her face-on with a smooth, seemingly Photoshoopped complexion, while the bottom is a raw profile shot showing her skin as is, pimples and all.

"i find this curious," she mused, "two photos from today, one edited so my skin is perfect and one real. remember flaws are ok :-)"

Amen, sister! This isn't the first time that the New Zealand prodigy has drawn attention to her own very normal teenage (and beyond, for some of us) imperfections.

In February, she kept it real—really real—when she Instagrammed a bare-faced selfie "in bed in paris with my acne cream on."

She's a smart lady, because proper skin care is the only way to keep those pesky pimples at bay!
