If anyone deserves some fun in the sun, it's Amy Poehler.
After co-hosting the Golden Globes in January and wrapping production on NBC's Parks and Recreation in March, the 42-year-old actress jetted to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with comic Nick Kroll, her 35-year-old boyfriend of less than a year. On Sunday, Poehler rocked a cherry-colored one-piece swimsuit and a colorful cover-up during a stroll on the sand. Kroll kept his beach body covered up by wearing a polo.
When the couple was first photographed Thursday, Poehler rocked a printed surf top, bikini bottoms, sunglasses and a hat. Kroll, meanwhile, paired his striped swim trunks with a Big League Chew T-shirt.
Poehler began dating The Kroll Show star in May 2013, less than a year after the Emmy winner and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Will Arnett announced they'd separated after nine years of marriage.
Kroll has appeared on Parks and Recreation several times as vulgar radio DJ "The Douche." Poehler returned the favor by appearing in an episode of her boyfriend's Comedy Central show earlier this year. Asked if this is the first time he's ever worked with someone he's dating, Kroll jokingly told Vulture in March, "I dated Barry Manilow for a few years and was in a few of his videos. And also was very seriously dating Jaleesa on A Different World—when I was dating her I appeared on a few episodes as Sinbad's fry cook, working in the cafeteria. So I have some experience with it."
Months earlier, in an interview with The New York Post, Kroll joked that he met Poehler 15 years ago when they both were abducted by a spaceship. "After a number of experiments we were returned to Earth, with no memory of it, but with an incredible passion for improv comedy, and we stayed in touch ever since then," The League star said, not wanting to divulge any real details about their romance.
