Drake can't help but be huge in England. Or maybe folks were hoping for a glimpse of Rihanna.

So many fans flocked to the rapper's afterparty following his show at London's O2 Arena last night that the Metropolitan Police needed to step in to implement a little crowd control in the middle of the night.

A rep for the Met Police confirmed Thursday to E! News that cops were called at approximately 2:23 a.m. in response to reports of a fight at a venue on Rupert Street.

Officers showed up and dispered roughly 100 people who were gathered outside the nightclub DSTRKT, apparently in hopes of getting a glimpse at Drake.

He was spotted leaving the venue just after 2 a.m., bodyguards in tow and snuggled up in a flashy brown fur coat.

Per the police, no arrests were made and no crimes or injuries were reported. (How fitting that fans of a nice-seeming fellow like Drake be relatively unruly!)

Alas, these people were a night late if they wanted to see Rihanna.

Drake's very close gal-pal attended his concert Tuesday night at O2 and then joined him at the afterparty at private members' club and restaurant Tramp in London's Mayfair district.

Per the Daily Mail, Rihanna was also spotted partying at Tramp last night, so she missed the DSTRKT commotion.
