A slightly scruffy Pitt opted for a tan jacket with khaki pants, a white T-shirt and a pair of tinted glasses for the event.
Per the documentary's website, Big Men tells the story of a small group of American explorers at a Dallas-based oil company called Kosmos Energy. The movie's two-person crew was given unprecedented access and filmed inside the oil company between 2007 and 2011, as Kosmos and its partners "discovered and developed the first commercial oil field in Ghana's history."
Pitt is an executive producer of the film.
Meanwhile, the Unbroken director was spotted at LAX as she jetted to London with the couple's children Maddox and Zahara on Tuesday evening.
While the 38-year-old was across the pond, she met up with British Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs William Hague for a meal. The Oscar winner also attended a breakfast at 10 Downing Street before she was photographed leaving her hotel for the airport.
The next stop for the always busy Jolie? Sarajevo, where her first film In the Land of Blood and Honey was set.
