Twitter/Getty ImagesSafe to say there's officially a Twitter feud brewing between Demi Lovato and Kathy Griffin. And it seems a bit more serious than Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry's latest war of words.
During a chat earlier this week on the social media site, the comedian was asked to share the "biggest douche celebrity" she has ever met and the fiery redhead didn't hold back while candidly sharing her response.
"Probably [Demi] Lovato," Griffin wrote (the tweet has since been deleted), and she even, er, accidentally called the singer "Debbie" before adding, "Plus she should calm the f down bout Lady Gaga gettin barfed on."
And apparently, the "Neon Lights" star got wind of Griffin's remarks as she took to Twitter today to share a selfie in which she's sticking out her tongue while the funnylady stands in the background. She captioned the pic, which she deleted almost immediately after posting, "Only a 'douche' to people I can't stand."
Ouch.
But that's not all, because Lovato's deleted tweet caught the attention of the Grammy Award winner, who found the post hilarious (and has since deleted her reaction tweet), although she continues to retweet various Twitter threats from Demi's loyal Lovatics (the "Skyscraper" star has since stayed out of the feud).
Less than two weeks ago, the former Disney darling slammed the Mother Monster for her puking performance at SXSW and criticized the 27-year-old pop star for glorifying bulimia.
"Sad… As if we didn't have enough people glamorizing eating disorders already. Bottom line, it's not 'cool' or 'artsy' at all," she wrote before adding, "Would you let someone bring a needle and shoot up on you? Addiction is addiction."
She further explained: "It's not 'shade' and it's not 'hate, But if someone has to come forward and say it…I'll take the heat for it. Putting the word ART in it isn't a free card to do whatever you want without consequences."
