InstagramNick Cannon's use of whiteface certainly got people talking—and some of the backlash has been pretty brutal. Still, Mariah Carey's hubby has no regrets about his "Connor Smallnut" (yes, seriously) character.
"I love this conversation though," he tweeted Monday, as his questionable alter ego continued to promote his upcoming album White People Party Music. "It's showing a lot of people's true colors...#punintended #wppm woooo!!!"
At first, the 33-year-old father of two feigned confusion over the controversy. " Hold up… What the f#ck is "White Face"???" he wrote. "Did I just create a new term??? Nice!!! LOL."
