LeAnn Rimes didn't just sing her heart out Saturday in Oklahoma—she popped her "jaw out of place" mid-performance, too!
The 31-year-old singer took to Twitter to apologize for ending her concert somewhat abruptly. "I'm sorry for no encore," she wrote. "I had my jaw pop out of place & I can't hear out of my left ear. #tmjsucks."
TMJ, short for temporomandibular joint dysfunction, is used to describe pain and restricted movement of the jaw and its surrounding muscles. She explained to a fan on Twitter Saturday she's "had it [TMJ] since I was 16."
She's also blogged about her dental struggles in the past, including once in October 2012 when she had to visit the emergency room at 3 a.m. "'I've been living in a dental nightmare for 10 months," she wrote on her website. "I'm getting back on track though, I hope. I've had too many detours this year due to dental issues."
Fortunately, LeAnn's popped-out jaw didn't ruin Saturday for her. "Oklahoma!!!! I love you so much!" she tweeted after the show, adding, "I had the best time tonight with my Oklahoma fans! I love y'all!"
Props to the "Spitfire" songstress for keeping such a positive attitude!
