Jennifer Lawrence may be one of the most beloved celebs in Hollywood, but she's also a famous fan in her own right when March Madness rolls around.

The 23-year-old Oscar winner, who hails from Kentucky, was proud to cheer on the University of Louisville in the NCAA tournament, and even sent a photo of herself to the school where she's throwing up a Louisville "L" and wearing the school's signature gear, the Daily Caller reports.

Smiling from ear to ear, the American Hustle hottie sports a Cardinals T-shirt in the adorable pic, which was sent to the school to encourage team spirit, and no doubt, was an exciting moment for all.

Oddsmaker Nate Silver, who predicted the defending men's basketball champs would take home the trophy again this year, took to Twitter to share the pic of J.Law while thanking the actress for keeping the team's spirit high.

"Thank you Jennifer Lawrence for motivating #Louisville to win tonight! #L1C4 #GoCards #CardNation," he captioned the pic of the world-famous fan.

And it seems that the Silver Linings Playbook star may have indeed worked her magic, as the Cardinals, a No. 4 seed in the Midwest region, almost lost to the Manhattan Jaspers last night, although they managed to pull ahead for the win with a score of 71 to 64.

It was a nail-biting game down to the last minute and had every super-fan on the edge of their seats, so...you can only imagine the amazing Jennifer Lawrence sound bites we must have missed!
