Tori Spelling Looks Super Skinny in Horizontal Stripe Dress as Mystery Girls Teaser Trailer Debuts

Actress shows off her slender shape as her new sitcom with Jennie Garth gets ready to premiere on ABC Family

Some women worry that horizontal stripes might make them appear larger—not Tori Spelling.

The 40-year-old Spelling It Like It Is author modeled a tight black and white Bailey44 Open Net dress with a mesh neckline before a business meeting in L.A. on Tuesday, March 11. The mother of four completed her look with a turquoise belt that accentuated her tiny waist and coral-colored pumps.

Last spring, the blond actress praised stripes, calling them "so classic, so chic, and so easy to wear."

One week after Spelling showed off her slender shape, a teaser trailer for Mystery Girls premiered on ABC Family. The comedy follows to former detective TV starlets brought back together by a real-life mystery. Holly Hamilton (Spelling) and Charlie Contour (Jennie Garth, Spelling's former Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star) are forced to put their TV crime-solving skills to the test. It debuts June 25 at 8:30 p.m.

"We can't wait to go to work, and that's unusual for me," Garth told E! News on March 12. "The last thing I usually want to do is go to work, but this show sounds like a lot of fun. It's gonna be a blast!"
