It goes without saying that Kourtney Kardashian has incredible taste when it comes to fashion and home décor, so when Domaine Home scored a personal shopping trip with the star to learn more about her expertise, we couldn't wait to learn more.

The mother of two took Mat Sanders, the site's editorial director, on a fun-filled vintage shopping extravaganza and sounded off on her rules of thumb when it comes to selecting prized pieces to take home.

A few of her savvy tips for vintage shopping?

Shop with a trusted friend (Kourt totes along her cousin or best friend), who knows you and your home well; and act on impulse when you find something you love.

"If I want something, I'm no good at haggling because I'm so afraid I'll lose it!" she confesses to Sanders.

She also advises taking photos for reference, investing in good mirrors and buying new Lucite pieces versus vintage. ("It always looks best new," she quips.)

With that in mind, the design-obsessed duo toured Kourtney's favorite antique haunts in L.A., searching for inspiration for her family's new contemporary Spanish-style house.

"For my next house, I want the complete opposite. No prints, no wallpaper, no color. I want the vibe to be like Something's Gotta Give with a little Pierre Paulin thrown in," she explained of her vision.

We can't wait to see how the fashionista will transform her fabulous new pad.
