The attorney representing the paparazzo who's suing Bieber for battery has filed a motion to depose the "Baby" singer yet again, after Bieber proved less than completely cooperative the first time around.
"I'm looking for Bieber's reappearance in a deposition to be answered truthfully, honestly, and provide his recollections as to incidents that occurred between him and his bodyguards, including the Selena Gomez incident," plaintiff Jeffrey Binion's lawyer, Mark DiCowden, who filed several motions last week, exclusively tells E! News.
When they sat down together for the first time two weeks ago, Bieber—when asked if he had dated Gomez and ever discussed his feelings about paparazzi with her—wagged his finger and told DiCowden "don't ask me about her again" several times before getting up and walking out.
He ultimately returned to the table after consulting with his attorney, but Bieber's behavior during that four-hour deposition is now the stuff of pop-culture legend.
DiCowden has also filed to have Bieber's California-based attorneys Howard Weitzman and Jeremiah Reynolds kicked off the case.
"In the other motion, I'm also looking for his California [attorneys] to be sanctioned and removed from representing Justin Bieber in this case for their conduct in the March 6 deposition by refusing to allow Bieber to answer questions that were reasonably calculated to lead to admissible evidence in this case," he said.
A hearing on DiCowden's motions has been set for June 30.
But what does Bieber's ex have to do with Binion supposedly getting roughed up by the 20-year-old singer's bodyguard in Miami last June, where Gomez was nowhere to be found?
"I'm looking to question Bieber about Selena because of the incident that occurred in California where he attacked a photographer right in front of her," DiCowden says.
Bieber was never charged in the May 2012 incident DiCowen is referring to, which went down at The Commons outdoor shopping area in Calabasas, Calif., but a paparazzo is alleging that Bieber attacked him and has filed a civil suit.
Meanwhile, Gomez hasn't exactly been out of sight, out of mind. Right after the fateful deposition in Miami, Bieber reunited with her in Texas for breakfast, kisses and possibly a sexy dance studio session. Gomez also watched from backstage as Bieber dedicated "As Long as You Love Me" to his "baby."
