It's not easy being green—just ask Kermit the Frog!

The Muppets Most Wanted star has long lamented his greenness, but on Monday's Tonight Show, he celebrated his unique coloration with some help from Jimmy Fallon!

Miss Piggy's love began with a solo heartfelt performance of "Bein' Green," singing how it "seems you blend in with so many other ordinary things" when you're green and wondering if it would "be nicer being red or yellow or gold/ Or something much more colorful like that." The adorable amphibian crooned about "having to spend each day the color of the leaves" and how "people tend to pass you over" when you're a seemingly basic color.

Towards the end of Kermit's song, though, Jimmy joined him onstage. The late-night host, wearing his St. Patrick's Day finest and drinking a green beer, asked his frog friend, "Don't you know that today's the easiest day being green?"

"You know what?" Kermit exclaimed. "That's a very good point!"

Then the two pals—man and muppet—finished out the song together, singing, "We are green, and it'll be fine/ It's beautiful!/ And we think it's what we wanna be."

Muppets Most Wanted opens in theaters this Friday.
