Kristin Cavallari and Orly Shani made the press rounds in New York City on Friday to chat about their new show, The Fabulist, and unsurprisingly HuffPost Live host Caitlyn Becker couldn't resist asking the former Laguna Beach star about the MTV show's other famous blond, Lauren Conrad.

When asked if she often gets compared to LC, Kristin shared: "Of course! I've been getting them for ten years! But it's been a part of my career since day one so I expect it, it is what it is. It doesn't bother me. There are worst people to be compared to."

The Hills alum is now moving on from her reality days and talking about fashion, beauty and lifestyle on E!. She even dished some hints about what trends will be featured on Monday's premiere: "For spring, pastels are huge," she revealed on Fox & Friends. "Floral prints are huge." She knows what she's talking about too. Her fashion and beauty credentials are solid when it comes to deciding what is and isn't fabulous. "I've been in the entertainment business now for ten years, I've been around the best stylists, best hair and makeup people and I've really learned a lot of great tips over the years, so I'm hoping to bring that knowledge to the show."

We all not-so-secretly want to be more fabulous, but Kristin advices the best way to achieve that is to "have confidence and be yourself." Now those are in everyone's budget!

As for who Kristin and Orly's look up to, Kristin reveals, "Kate Moss, baby! She's so chic and sexy, she just looks good all the time whether it's on the red carpet or on the street." Orly chose someone a little younger but equeally chic, the beautiful Blake Lively. "I just think she always looks effortless, she goes really over the top and adventurous for fashion and she keeps her glam really simple and doesn't make it look like she's playing a part. She's just so sexy!"

To kick off the day—and Monday's premiere—Krstin and Orly rang the opening bell at NASQAC Marketsite in NYC. Only three more days until The Fabulist premiere on Monday, March 17 at 8:30/7:30c on E! Make sure you tune in!
