The former Secretary of State and US General posted a photo of himself from 60 years ago on his Facebook page, and it's incredible.
"Throwback Thursday—I was doing selfies 60 years before you Facebook folks," he wrote. "Eat your heart out Ellen!" Snap!
A dapper Powell, dressed in a waistcoat and trousers, is shown in what appears to be a hotel room and taking the photo on a camera (that's right, a cellphone-less selfie...that's next level).
The black-and-white snapshot is pretty much the best thing we've seen all day.
But naturally, he wasn't the only star to jump on board the throwback Thursday train.
January Jones Instagrammed a picture of her posing as a toddler.
Her adorable bowl cut is overshadowed by three cuts below her left eye.
The blond actress explained where they came from in a caption that said, "I was either mauled by my little baby sister or our pet cat fluffy."
She added, "RIP fluffy but that's what you get for mauling my face."
Mariah Carey also posted a flash from the past on Instagram.
The songstress shared a video from her "Honey" music video where she's seen showing off her Spanish speaking chops. Not bad, M.C.!
This week's list of stars throwing it back are just the latest to join the photo craze.
