Hell hath no fury like a bastard scorned...and attacked.

Reign's Bash (Torrance Coombs) has been having a no-good-very-bad time recently on the CW drama. Not only did he lose the woman he loves, Mary (Adelaide Kane), to his brother Francis (Toby Regbo) and then was forced to watch them consummate the marriage, but he was then exiled from the castle. Oh, and then his brother's guards tried to kill him. But rest assured: Bash is coming back with a vengeance.

"The first thing that brings Bash back to the castle is if Francis ordered this hit on Bash, Mary should probably know about that," Torrance Coombs previews of Bash's return to French Court. "He heads on back to let her know that maybe she should figure out who she's actually married to."

And we've got an exclusive sneak peek at tonight's episode, "Dirty Laundry," that features Bash doing exactly that!

It's four months after the royal wedding and it's the first time Mary and Bash have seen each other since she said "I do" to his brother, breaking his heart in the process. So yeah, you can cut the tension with a knife.

But their reunion comes even more tense when Bash reveals Francis' attempts to have him murdered to Mary, who is doubtful of his claims. Will Bash bringing up old memories, including their first kiss, persuade her though? Or will his threats push her even closer to Francis? Watch our exclusive sneak peek above to see the pair's secret reunion!

So what has Bash been up to in the four months since we saw him last? "He's hunting in the woods and he's doing his thing out there and he actually seems strangely liberated by the whole thing," Coombs says. "But whatever's going on in the woods out there is still going on and it's posing a threat to people that deep down he still cares about...he has to do something about it, so he needs to enlist the help of people at the castle."

Reign airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on the CW.
