Girl Meets World is welcoming an old friend from over there.

Lee Norris is set to reprise his fan-favorite role as Minkus on the Disney Channel's highly anticipated comedy series from Boy Meets World creator Michael Jacobs, E! News has exclusively learned. We've also got your exclusive first look at Norris and Ben Savage's on-screen reunion, with a photo from Norris' guest appearance that will surely cause fans of the beloved ABC series to have a nostalgia-fueled grin on their faces for the rest of the day.

"I've had a great time being back on set with some of my old friends," Norris said in a statement exclusively to E! News. "It still amazes me how many people love and remember Minkus, and I'm excited for the fans to catch up with him after all these years."

Diehard fans of Boy Meets World will remember Minkus as the nerd Cory (Ben Savage), Topanga (Danielle Fishel) and Shawn (Rider Strong) went to elementary school, who mysteriously went MIA for four years after Cory and Shawn willed him to disappear. Fortunately, he returned in season five, fully intact, for the gang's high school graduation. So where had he been? "Just the other part of the school...over there."

Norris, who is also known for his work as Mouth on the CW's longrunning drama One Tree Hill, will guest star in one episode of the comedy series, which premieres this summer. So what brings Minkus and Cory together again? Our lips are sealed, but we can promise that fans will not be disappointed.

And Minkus isn't the only familiar face fans will be seeing on the spinoff as William Daniels is set to reprise his iconic role as Mr. Feeny in the pilot episode.

Set in New York City, Girl Meets World centers on Riley (Rowan Blanchard), Cory and Topanga's curious and bright tween daughter, and her quick-witted friend Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), aka the Shawn to her Cory), as they begin their unforgettable middle school journey. However, their plans for a carefree year might have to be adjusted as they are under the watchful eye of Topanga and Cory, who is now a middle school history teacher.

And the Disney Channel is clearly as excited about the show as we are as the network has already ordered additional episodes of the buzzed-about spinoff, bringing its first season order to 21 episodes.

"Girl Meets World is a new show for a new generation that will be rooted in the same kind of honest, comedic storytelling about coming of age and the importance of family and friendship that made Boy Meets World so popular," creator Michael Jacobs said at the time.

Girl Meets World premieres this summer on the Disney Channel.
