Everyone's favorite Canadian is coming back to TV!

Alan Thicke is set to star in a new "reality-ish" television series, Unusually Thicke, on TVGN that will center on his wacky and chaotic life with his "beautiful, spicy and much younger" wife Tanya and his "dry-witted, often opinionated" 16-year-old son, Carter.

The 14-episode series, which premieres April 16, will feature The Growing Pains star in a blend of reality television and situational comedy. "Unusually Thicke combines my two favorite things: family...and laughing at my family," the 67-year-old actor said in a statement. "This series is my foray into the ‘reality-ish' television world where viewers will meet the lovable, unpredictable, and often challenging people who live with the real Jason Seaver."

Unusually Thicke will also bring in some of the star's famous friends and relatives throughout the season. Son, and "Blurred Lines" singer, Robin Thicke is set to appear, along with David Hasselhoff, Wayne Gretzky, Full House's Bob Saget, John Stamos and many more.

Thicke revealed, "We take our relatable real-life stories and blow them up to amuse and amaze, tossing in a handful of celebrity friends along the way. Please come aboard and enjoy the ride!"
