Style at SXSW is all about cool prints and color. You won't see any boring LBDs or stuffy cocktail dresses here—instead, stars like to ditch their silk gowns for a week and experiment with fun new trends.
SXSW has just gotten underway so we can't crown a "best dressed" of the entire festival just yet, but here's some stars who are earning top style marks so far.
Amber Heard had that newly-engaged glow when she stepped out to the 2014 Texas Film Awards in a sexy fringed dress by Ulyana Sergeenko. And Rosario Dawson arrived at the Joe premiere in an orange and red leopard DVF wrap dress, proving prints are perfect for SXSW.
And Mindy Kaling wins the award for best use of color. The funny girl paired her pink Trina Turk blouse and pants with a mixed metallic statement necklace and blue heels.
And last but not least in our style roundup is actress Isabelle Fuhrman, who got into the Austin spirit of things and stepped out in a blue and white jumpsuit with cutout mesh detailing at the shoulder.
