Ashley Greene Transforms Into Priscilla Presley, Rocks a Retro Bathing Suit for Shangri-La Suite

In the indie film, the Twilight star plays the role alongside Ron Livingston, who takes on the role of Elvis

Ashley Greene is transforming into Elvis Presley's former ladylove.

The 27-year-old Twilight actress stars in the upcoming indie film The Shangri-La Suite as Priscilla Presley, alongside Ron Livingston, who plays the late King of Rock ‘n' Roll.

In one of the shots taken on the set, Greene rocks a retro yellow bathing suit and smiles wide, as she films a scene with Emily Browning and Alyvia Alyn Lind, who portrays the couple's then six-year-old daughter Lisa Marie Presley.

Livingston, meanwhile, sports Elvis' signature sideburns and haircut in the film, and rocks open shirts to show off his chubby belly.

The film, which takes place in 1974, centers on two troubled mental hospital patients, Karen and Jack (Browning and Luke Grimes), who fall in love and drive cross-country to try to murder Elvis during one of his concert appearances in Los Angeles.

Aside from the plot, details on a release date for the Eddie O' Keefe-directed film have not been released.
