Ellen DeGeneres made history during Sunday's Oscars when she took a star-studded selfie with Jared Leto, Jennifer Lawrence, Channing Tatum, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Kevin Spacey, Bradley Cooper, Brad Pitt, Lupita Nyong'o and Angelina Jolie. It temporarily shut down Twitter's servers, and less than a week later, the photo has been retweeted more 3.23 million times and favorited 1.88 million times.

If it were up to Lawrence, however, the actors could have taken things a step further. "Oh, my god! Oh, my god!" the nominee said in a behind-the-scenes video. "One of us should have flashed a boob!"

The American Hustle star added, "That's the only way we would have shut down the internet!"

Without missing a beat, DeGeneres whipped out her cell phone and told Lawrence, "We have time!"

That surely would have appeased Seth MacFarlane, who drew criticism for his "We Saw Your Boobs" musical number when he hosted the Academy Awards in 2013. (Lawrence played along then, too.)

DeGeneres had originally planned to crop Streep out of the selfie. "That was going to be the joke," she told Cooper on the Governors Ball red carpet Sunday night. "But it doesn't matter. It was just great."

"I thought it would crash," DeGeneres told E! News' Marc Malkin of the social media site. "But I didn't know everyone would do it." The comedienne continued, "What's funny is that Lupita's brother is the most prominent. And then Jared came running over to be in it. And Angie got it in. I didn't expect all that."

In the BTS video, Benedict Cumberbatch also tried to maneuver around DeGeneres, who was wearing a Glinda the Good Witch costume from The Wizard Of Oz. "What way do I go?" he asked. "I'm trapped by a massive fairy!" Before taking the stage, the comedienne replied, "Don't act like it's the first time!"
