Dylan Penn has certainly been gaining heat in the modeling world.

So much so that Playboy is hot for her.

A source exclusively tells me that the magazine offered Sean Penn and Robin Wright's daughter about $150,000 to pose for the cover.

Dylan politely turned them down. (Her agent, David Todd of DT Model Management, declined to comment for this story.)

"It would have been more of a shoot like they did with Kate Moss," the source said. "They want to shoot some top models and up-and-comers for the cover using fashion photographers."

Moss was shot by celebrity photography duo Mert and Marcus.

The 39-year model graced the cover of Playboy's 60th anniversary edition sporting the magazine's signature bunny ears, classic bunny suit and white tail. She was featured in an 18-page spread!

"Having Kate Moss, a global icon and the most important supermodel of the past 25 years, appear on our cover makes this issue the perfect way to launch Playboy's next 60 years," the mag's editorial director Jimmy Jellinek said when the issue was released in December.

Not only did Penn, who has been linked to Robert Pattinson and Vampire Diaries star Steven McQueen, star in a recent campaign for Gap Outlet, but she was also just shot for Ralph Lauren's Denim & Supply line.

Penn has been shot for GQ and Elle and was seated in one of the coveted front row seats at Diane von Furstenberg's New York Fashion Week show last month.
