Katy Perry tried her hand at playing a weather girl during a recent guest appearance on Australia's Sunrise morning news show.

The "Dark Horse" singer was given a "nifty wand" and looked like she was having a blast reading about the country's forecast for the day.

Dressed in a Giambattista Valli overcoat and dress, Perry managed to only botch a few city names during her hilarious segment.

For one, she called Hobart "Hogwarts" and needed some help from the anchors of the show with the pronunciation of several other cities.

"If you don't understand all of this, I am sure you have an app on your phone," she said while giggling at the end.

But the funny antics didn't end there…

Shortly after she presented the weather, a Madame Tussauds statue of Miss Perry herself was brought out onto the set.

The 29-year-old songstress stared at the figure and played around by poking and prodding at her.

When asked what she thought of it, Perry said that "her boobs are much bigger."

She added, "She is very strange, but I like her and I think we'll be friends."

And during the sit-down chat on the news program, Perry admitted that she was taken aback by her recent smooch with Miley Cyrus.

"I just walked up to her to give her like a friendly girly kiss, you know, as girls do," Perry said, adding, "and then she like tried to move her head and go deeper and I pulled away."

"God knows where that tongue has been," Perry joked. "We don't know! That tongue is so infamous!"
