But what seems to really have other people's tongues wagging now is the discovery that the 21-year-old singer appears to be relying on teleprompters to assist her while performing her very own songs.
In the photo above, taken at a recent concert in Las Vegas, Cyrus can be seen standing in front of a monitor with lyrics flashing across it.
"I was at Miley's Vegas concert and took these pictures because I couldn't believe she needed a teleprompter with lyrics to all of her songs throughout the entire concert," an eyewitness told RadarOnline. "And it's not like they were just there for nothing — I caught her looking at them more than a few times!"
So, if you find yourself at one of the pop star's upcoming shows and are struggling to sing along because you simply can't recall all of the words, well, it looks like you might not be alone.
Cyrus kicked off her highly anticipated tour in Vancouver on Valentine's Day.
Meanwhile, over the weekend, she took a quick tour break to attend Madonna's annual celeb-filled post-Oscars bash on Sunday. Guests included Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Lupita Nyong'o, Julia Roberts, Charlize Theron, Madonna's ex Sean Penn and spouses-to-be Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher.
