Jared Leto has lined up his post-Oscars plans.

The 42-year-old Oscar winner and his band 30 Seconds to Mars will be embarking on a North American tour with Linkin Park and AFI starting Aug. 8 of this year. The tour has been dubbed The Carnivores Tour by the three bands.

"Carnivores is a metaphor that is meant to convey an appetite for something visceral and substantive, and I feel that's exactly the hunger this tour will feed," Linkin Park's Mike Shinoda says in a press released out today.

Leto adds, ‎"We are so excited to join our friends on this epic journey. It's going to be the adventure of a lifetime."

The band also shared a quote from Leto via their Twitter page, writing, "This is a great thing - 5 or 6 weeks of joy, celebration, madness, magic."

Leto announced the tour news earlier today, just two days after he took home an Oscar award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Dallas Buyers Club. Tickets for The Carnivores Tour go on sale Friday, Mar. 7.

The tour will kick off in Palm Beach before heading across North America and ending in the Bay Area city of Concord, Calif. on Sept. 19.
