The British band have announced that their new album Ghost Stories will hit shelves on May 19. "Our new album, Ghost Stories, is out on 19 May," they announced via their Twitter last night, adding a link for fans to listen to the first single from their album "Magic."
Chris Martin and his band mates followed up by sharing the album artwork for Ghost Stories, writing, "The new album, Ghost Stories, is out 19 May. Pre-order from iTunes at http://smarturl.it/ghoststories . Here's the artwork..."

Martin also penned a handwritten note with the lyrics to "Magic." "Chris has written out the track listing for the new album, #GhostStories, and the lyrics for the single, Magic..." they wrote on Twitter.
A sample of the lyrics reads, "Call it magic, call it truth/call it magic when I'm with you/and I just got broken, broken into two/still I call it magic when I'm next to you."
Coldplay released their last album Mylo Xyloto in 2011.
