InstagramHeads up, guys! Nicole Richie has just pulled a fast one on us.
Last week, the star posted a photo sporting lavender locks to her Instagram, which caused fans to wonder: Had the designer taken a page from Kelly Osbourne's hair color handbook? Nope! It turned out the new hue was simply a bit of Photoshop magic.
Well, now it's for real, for real. Last night the star posted two photos of her newly purple tresses—and there doesn't appear to be any retouching involved.
Now, how permanent the eye-popping hue is, is to be determined. She could have simply used a temporary dye for the night. Like she did for her 2013 Met Gala look. And we know just one day before she had a brunette hue while promoting her clothing line at a QVC Red Carpet event. Alas, we'll just have to wait and see what condition (read: color) the star's hair is in when she emerges next.
