Lisa Marie Presley must have been happy with her recent tour. She just married her musical director.

Actually, it's news of the marriage that just happened, with an announcement Thursday from Presley's publicist. The actual ceremony, joining Presley and musician-producer Michael Lockwood in matrimony, occurred Jan. 22 in Japan, rep Paul Bloch told the Associated Press.

Presley's mother, Priscilla Presley, 60, attended and participated in the wedding, as did Presley's children, Benjamin Storm, 13, and Danielle Riley, 16, a model, who served as maid of honor. Presley's first ex-husband, Danny Keough, the father of her children, gave his stamp of approval, too, serving as best man.

Lockwood's age and previous marital status are unknown. Presley's are not. She turned 38 on Feb. 1, making her a mere 37 when she walked down the aisle for the fourth time with Lockwood.

The lone child of rock legend Elvis Presley previously was wed to Keough (1988-94), Michael Jackson (1994-96) and, very briefly, Nicolas Cage (2002). All but Oscar-winner Cage were musicians.

Since hitting her mid-30s, Presley has pursued a music career herself. She has released two albums, most recently 2005's Now What. One track, a cover of Don Henley's "Dirty Laundry," got play in promo ads for ABC's Desperate Housewives. Lockwood cowrote songs, played guitar and executive produced the project.

In an interview with Yahoo! Music last month, Presley talked about finding "the right person" for a collaborator. "You really do have to be sitting with somebody you like 'cause it's a very personal thing," she said, "very purging, and you can't just force yourself to be creative."

Presley and Lockwood hit the road together on her Now What tour, which wrapped last November in Chicago.

Lockwood's other credits include work with Carly Simon and Aimee Mann.

In notching her latest marriage, Presley joins the ranks of Liza Minnelli, Lorenzo Lamas and Doris Day, who also have enjoyed four weddings each. So far.
