The "Burn" singer posted a picture of the two meeting and wrote, "FINALLY we meet!"
He then took to Twitter to respond, "It has finally happened!! The world can continue spinning."
In case you're not clued in on what the big deal was, these two have been exchanging tweets back and forth since early last year.
It all started when Paul asked the Brit to attend his wedding…as the wedding singer.
He tweeted: "Hey @elliegoulding hope your day is going beautifully. Quick question, would you like to play at my wedding? Say yes."
The singer promptly tweeted (and then deleted), "ok" and later asked "when is it?"
Paul then excitedly wrote back, "Wedding is next month and you're awesome. Where should I deliver my first born?"
Despite the convo, it looks like Goulding didn't make it to Paul's nuptials due to her grueling tour schedule.
He tied the knot with longtime girlfriend, Lauren Parsekian, in a stunning ceremony in Malibu last May.
And the morning after they tied the knot, the bride and groom posted sweet messages to each other on Instagram.
"A day will never go by without me reminding you how special you are," Paul wrote. "Thanks for last night my pretty little bird."
Parsekian echoed that sentiment, writing, "Well that was the most magical night of my life. #mrmrspaul," in a caption alongside the same pic.
