Anne Hathaway is set to present at the Oscars this weekend, as most defending champions tend to do, but here's a sneak peek at the Les Misérables star looking red-carpet ready.

Via Madame Tussauds, that is.

A brand-new wax figure of Hathaway was unveiled today and, we must say, this is one of the most realistic celebrity likenesses we've seen from the famed museum.

Madame Tussauds chose to capture the now 31-year-old actress in her non-pixie-cut mode, her glossy brown hair pinned back in a glam style to match the vibe of her black satin strapless gown and jeweled necklace.

The figure, which took 20 artists three months to create at a cost of $300,000, is also smiling Anne's trademark smile.

Timeless, indeed. (But seriously, doesn't it really look like her?)

Hathaway will be making her awards season debut at the 86th Academy Awards, having taken a bit of a break from the limelight (if not getting a pass from the paparazzi's ever-vigilant lenses) in 2013 after winning her Best Supporting Actress Oscar.

In fact, while promoting her latest film, Song One, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, Hathaway quipped that she figured "people needed a break" from her.

Talking about the timing behind her break and the arrival of Song One on the festival circuit, she told MTV News, "We had been working on the script for two years before we actually started shooting. All of the elements came together in that moment. I don't want to bring up a sore subject or anything—I think my publicist is probably like, 'No, no no'—but I had just taken a little bit of a beating from the Internet."

Well, with all that surely ancient history by now in Internet years, we just can't wait to see what the real Anne Hathaway wears this weekend!
