What a sweetheart!
Selena Gomez made a young fan's day at Los Angeles International Airport when, upon flying in after spending just a few days out of time, she stopped to sign an autograph for a little girl.
The 21-year-old, dressed for travel in skinny black pants, a black tank top, ankle boots and one of those slouchy-cozy shawl coats that are all the rage right now (hers in a trendy olive green), was making her way through the terminal when the girl approached, proferring what looked some sort of teen mag for the Spring Breakers star to sign.
Selena popped out her earbuds and gamely obliged.
Of course, this is hardly the first time that Selena has shown love for her fans at the airport.
About a year ago she invited three thrilled young ladies, who had been waiting for her for hours, into her shuttle for a lap around the airport to take pics and sign autographs. And then in August, she gave another kid concert tickets after they met at the airport and ended up being on the same flight.
No wonder Selena's fans are so devoted!
It's not immediately known where the "Come and Get It" singer was returning from this time, but she was in London last week, where she sent the Internet into a dither by snapping a twitpic with One Direction's Niall Horan.
They're "just friends who happened to run into each other and took a photo," 1D's rep said.
And in addition to not forgetting the fans who buy her albums and pack the arenas to see her in concert, Selena also doesn't forget her fellow artists who are still up-and-coming.
"@TheRealGrimmie what an amazing performance tonight on @NBCTheVoice so proud of how far you have come," she tweeted Monday to Christina Grimmie after she opened the season-premiere auditions with a killer cover of "Wrecking Ball." "Excited to see you go all the way."
We repeat: Sweet girl, that Selena.
