Luckily for us, we caught up with the 30-year-old actress at the Maybelline New York and The Daily Front Row Fashion and Hollywood Luncheon at Cecconi's Restaurant in Los Angeles Tuesday afternoon.
Kate has that whole effortless beauty thing going on, so we had to ask her about her beauty secrets. "I love Orlane moisturizer. I think it's amazing," she said. She also had a piece of sound skincare advice for us: "Always clean your face before you go to bed." Noted.
But when it comes to products, there's one thing she loves above all others: Chapstick.
"I've been searching for the perfect kind of chapstick and constantly switching and looking for new ones," she said. "If I don't have my chapstick with me, that's the one thing I freak out about."
On the non-beauty front, we asked Kate if she was rooting for any movie in particular for the Oscars and she was decidedly diplomatic. "I don't have one specific movie this year," she said. "Which is weird, because I always have some sort of favorite!"
