Jesse Tyler Ferguson has taken his love for So You Think You Can Dance Down Under.
The Modern Family star, who is a frequent guest judge on the show's American version, appeared on the competition series' Australian incarnation this week.
But the 38-year-old actor wasn't there to give his thoughts on those hoofing it up, but rather to bust a few moves of his own.
"I've auditioned for the show in the United States a lot. And they don't get me there," Ferguson said while standing on the stage and pretending to slightly sob.
He then acknowledged one of the judges in particular, Paula Abdul.
"I know that Paula's here and she's my homegirl," he noted. "I just want to see if maybe I could audition for the show?"
Not surprising, both the audience and the judges didn't hesitate to give him the go-ahead, at which point Ferguson humorously pulled out all the stops. Without any music, no less!
In the end, he received a standing ovation. And a well-deserved one at that.
