When it comes to designers' worst nightmares, having your couture gowns get lost in transit on their way to the Oscars is probably right above a wardrobe malfunction or landing on the worst dressed list.

Unfortunately for Donna Karan that exact worst-case scenario happened over the weekend. On Sunday, the American designer's publicist Aliza Licht frantically tweeted that two dresses on their way to the 2014 Academy Awards had gone missing at LAX.

"I am trying to remain calm, but the plane just landed in LA & our #Oscars gowns are NOT on it," she wrote, later adding: "Did you dress anyone for the #Oscars? No, the dresses got lost. Bright side I just passed a level on @CandyCrushSaga."

Luckily this story has a happy ending. The following day, the gowns were located. "Breaking News! #DonnaKaranAtelier #Oscar dresses found in ‘cargo' area. My mistake, I should have shopped the person in them." Aliza joked, continuing with: "That you @WorldNetIntl for saving the day today! Now if you could just convince CelebX to wear the dress…" #Oscars

Phew! Crisis averted. Now we just have to wait five more days until we hopefully discover the identity of CelebX and see which dress she picked. Stay tuned!
