David Arquette has put his stamp of approval on Courteney Cox's new relationship!

The funnyman stopped by The Wendy Williams Show and revealed that he's a big fan of her new boyfriend, Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid.

"He's amazing, great guy," Arquette told Wendy Williams. "We've gone out to dinner a few times. My whole thing is that, he's a great man and to have someone kind that you trust around your kid is the most important part."

He also explained that reports about the end of his relationship with the former Friends star were inaccurate, at best.

"The magazines made us together and separated a lot more than we actually were. No, when we were separated, we were pretty much separated. We didn't get back together," he said.

But the famously amicable exes maintain that they're main priority is their nine-year-old daughter, Coco.

"We are great co-parents together," Arquette said of his ex-wife. "[Courteney's] an amazing mother and a dear friend."

The proud papa also dished that he may have a future entertainer on his hands with Coco.

"She definitely loves singing and dancing and performing. She's amazing, so blessed," he said with a huge smile.

Arquette is currently gearing up to become a father once again, as his girlfriend Christina McLarty is expecting their first child.

"She's got about, a little less than three more months and she's amazing!"

The two began dating in 2011 and briefly split up in mid-2012 before reconciling.
