Kacie Boguskie has found her Mr. Right.
The brunette beauty was first introduced to Bachelor fans on season 16 when she openly competed to win Ben Flajnik's heart in front of America, and again when she made a surprise appearance during Sean Lowe's season to see if their friendship could lead to something more.
Now it's clear why things with those two Bachelors didn't work out—she was meant to be with Rusty Gaston all along!
E! News has exclusively learned that Kacie B. is engaged to her beau, who she's been dating since December 2012, and dished the deets on her proposal.
"He proposed this past Saturday [Feb. 15] during our morning walk. We go on the same walk every Saturday morning," the Tennesee-based beauty told us. "This time, though, he asked if we could go a different route. I said okay because I had given him a hard time about Valentine's Day the day before—I had been expecting a proposal and didn't get one!"
"So we went on this new route that took us passed Bellemeade Plantation. It's a beautiful location where a lot of people get married. We walked through it and he brought me over to the area where couples normally say their vows. He started saying all these sweet things to me and I just wasn't getting it," she continued. "I had no idea what was going on. Then he said to me, ‘Let's make some new memories,' and got down on one knee. He was crying and I was crying. It was so sweet."
"After, we drove to the restaurant we had met at, where 30 of our family and closest friends were waiting for us to have lunch."
As for the ring? Well, Boguskie is very pleased. "Oh my god, I love the ring. It's gorgeous—exactly what I would have picked out myself."
And the two lovebirds are not wasting any time when it comes to wedding planning. In fact, they already picked a date! "We're getting married on May 11 at the Bellemeade Plantation," she told us. "We made the call on Monday, they had two dates available in May and that's the one we picked. We could have waited longer, but what's the point? When you know, you know."
"All I can say is we met when I least expected it," Kacie told E! News. "Everyone says that's how it happens and it sounds like a cliché, but it's true. I wasn't looking for it. Now, I feel like a princess. I'm so lucky."
