In an interview with Grantland's Bill Simmons posted on Thursday, the 27-year-old brought up her obsession with Old Loves, a Tumblr page devoted to photos of celebrity couples who are now kaput.
"The craziest thing that ever happened to me was, like, Old Loves is my passion, I check it like once a week. It's how I kick back on a Friday night," Dunham said. "And I was going through it and I saw my boyfriend [fun. guitarist Jack Antonoff] and his girlfriend from high school."
When asked who it was, she revealed it was none other than Scarlett Johansson.
However, Dunham was quick to note that she was not jealous of the former couple, adding, "She's beautiful, he's beautiful, but it was just so surreal to be looking through this blog that gives me so much pleasure, and then there's my boyfriend. I was like, 'My mind is going to explode.'"
Dunham and Antonoff have been dating since 2012.
Meanwhile, Johansson confirmed she was engaged to French beau Romain Dauriac in September 2013. She was married to Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2011.
