It looks like this is starting to turn into a he-said, she-said situation.

Just one day after Brandi Glanville said ex-husband Eddie Cibrian was seeking child support from her, the actor's rep has told E! News that is simply false.

"There is no truth to the claims that Eddie has requested child support from Brandi now, nor will he ever request child support from his ex-wife," the rep said in a statement. "The notion is preposterous. This is yet another ploy for self-promotion."

In a tweet on Tuesday, Glanville wrote, "Im not taking cheap shots at my ex in my new book cuz its all true,&now mr fancy new cars&house man is asking ME for child support! Uknownada."

What's more, a source told E! News yesterday that Cibrian has asked the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star for support payments and that she has been advised by her attorney not to discuss the matter.

"Going to stay positive and focuse on my new book & let my lawyer handle the rest," Glanville later tweeted.

Glanville, who admits in her memoir that she used Twitter to "obsess" over Cibrian and his current wife, LeAnn Rimes, after their divorce, was the target of a National Enquirer report last month about Rimes supposedly encouraging Cibrian to seek primary custody of their two sons.

E! News was told there was no truth to the report.

Be sure to tune in to see Brandi Glanville on the season two premiere of Hello Ross this Friday at 10 p.m. on E!
