All right guys, it's time to address Katy Perry's latest style obsession: floral prints. The star has opted to wear flower fashions to most of her recent red carpet events.
So far in 2014, she's opted for two garden prints thus far. Today she popped up in London at the Elle Style Awards in silk off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood gown. Just one month earlier she rocked a rose-patterned Dolce & Gabbana gown with cape at the Grammy Salute To The Beatles in Los Angeles.
Then back in the fall, she sported a flower-adorned Oscar de la Renta gown at the 2013 American Music Awards.
Even off the red carpet, the star seems to prefer blooming ensembles. Take her American Apparel sunflower crop top and shorts combo which she wore over Labor Day weekend. Or the mixed floral Chanel print she donned during Paris Fashion Week last October. Oh, and who could forget the embellished floral design by Tadashi Shoji at the Smurfs 2 premiere?
And don't get us wrong, we're not hating on her new fad. In fact, more flower power to ya, Katy! You're our walking inspiration for spring.
