The A-list twosome, who arrived in Cabo via a private jet on Friday, "had a romantic candlelit dinner by the beach" that night, a source tells E! News exclusively.
Charlize, 38, and Sean, 53, stayed for three nights in one of the Las Ventanas al Paraíso hotel 's oceanfront suites, "where they could overlook the beach and hear the waves crashing at night." The pair "had a personal butler, [but] didn't ask for too many things and kept to themselves," says a source, adding that the couple was "very low-key and spent most of their time in their room."
"They swam in their private infinity pool together and took a nap in a hammock under a palapa [aka Tiki hut]," adds a source. Charlize also did some yoga on the trip and Sean hit the gym to lift some weights.
And while the Oscar winners have spent quality time together in the company of Charlize's 2-year-old son Jackson, this past weekend "was a romantic trip for the two of them," says a source. "They definitely seemed to want privacy, and just to be alone together."
Must be nice! On Monday, though, it was back to real life for Charlize and Sean, who arrived back in L.A. via (once again!) private jet.
