Here's Jimmy! The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon debuted to 11.3 million viewers and a 3.8 rating in the 18-49 demographic. The ratings are down from Jay Leno's swan song, but still a strong showing for the new Tonight Show host.

Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show debut was at midnight as opposed to its regular 11:35 p.m. timeslot.

Fallon's first Tonight Show featured guests Will Smith and U2 and countless cameos, including appearances by Tina Fey, Mariah Carey, Stephen Colbert and Kim Kardashian. Fallon and Smith collaborated on the evolution of hip hop dance.

Earlier in February, Leno wrapped his Tonight Show run to 14.6 million viewers, his biggest audience since 1998.

Fallon's first Tonight Show also featured an appearance by Joan Rivers, who was previously banned by the series for the last 25 years.

"It's about time!" Rivers said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter after her appearance. "I've been sitting in a taxi outside NBC with the meter running since 1987." Rivers was a Tonight Show regular before getting her own late night show on Fox. Her deal with Fox caused a rift with then-host Johnny Carson.

Saturday Night Live veteran Seth Meyers takes over Fallon's old stomping grounds, Late Night, on Monday, Feb. 24.

(E! and NBC are both part of the NBCUniversal family.)
