Hilary Duff Enjoys "Modern Family" Vacation With Ex Mike Comrie and Son Luca

Former couple has remained amicable since announcing their separation last month

Hilary Duff took to Twitter today to share a photo of her "modern family" vacation with ex Mike Comrie and their one-year-old son Luca.

"#modernfamily #vacation #juicypear," the 26-year-old beauty captioned the cute family pic, proving there's no animosity between the former couple.

While it's unclear where the trio traveled on their trip, it appears to be somewhat of a tropical destination based on Duff's summery outfit, which included a striped tank top, short black shorts and a patterned jacket that she tied around her waist. Meanwhile, Comrie sported a pair of aviator shades, dark denim jeans and a black T-shirt, cradling little Luca in his left hand, while draping his right arm over Hilary. 

Both parents are gazing adoringly at their sweet son, who is busy noshing on a juicy pear in the pic while killing us with cuteness in a pair of checkered shorts and a tiny white tee. 

It's been just over one month since Duff's rep exclusively confirmed to E! News that the 26-year-old singer-actress and 33-year-old former NHL hockey player were splitting after 3 years of marriage. 

"Hilary Duff and husband Mike Comrie have mutually decided to an amicable separation," the former Disney star's rep said in a statement. "They remain best friends and will continue to be in each other's lives. They are dedicated to loving and parenting their amazing son, and ask for privacy at this time."

A source close to the couple stressed that the split was extremely friendly and didn't stem from any particular incident. They simply drifted apart over time, despite trying couple's therapy to fix their romance. They remain best friends.

Since the split, Duff has removed her wedding ring although she's since stepped out a number of times with Comrie, proving Luca is the pair's No. 1 priority. 

The duo was photographed arriving at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif. with their son just two days after they announced their breakup, and they've also enjoyed a post-separation hike with Luca as well as a recent casual stroll in NYC with their little one.
