Valentine's Day will always be extra romantic for future spouses Lauren Conrad and William Tell.

After all, the fashion designer, 28, and the law student, 34, were set up by pals on Feb. 14, 2012. To fete the occasion, Conrad shared another engagement picture via Instagram. "Happy Anniversary to my favorite Valentine," the former star of Laguna Beach and The Hills wrote Friday. "I love you dearly."

Photographer Elizabeth Messina also posted the picture on Instagram, adding the caption, "Love is beautiful."

Four months before Tell popped the question in October 2013, Conrad told Marie Claire that their similarities made them a perfect match. "He is very good for me because we have a lot in common as far as where we grew up," she said of her future husband, who also hails from Orange County, California. "It's the first time I'm with someone and I'm not explaining things. He also has experience in the entertainment industry, so he understands a lot of things that people don't always get."

"William hates it when I say this, but he really is a very nice guy, and when you meet a nice guy who also manages to keep your interest, that is the dream," Conrad told Cosmopolitan in a January 2014 cover story. "If you're going to settle down, it should be with someone you can't stop thinking about. Especially if you're in your 20s. If I were single in my 60s, I would totally settle. I would!"

Conrad isn't rushing to tie the knot. "You have the rest of your life to be married," she said. "Enjoy falling in love. When girls get caught up in the timeline, it becomes more about the wedding than the marriage. You should be with someone with whom you could elope this weekend and be happy."

When Tell, a former Something Corporate guitarist, proposed in the fall of 2013, Conrad was floored. "I had no idea it was coming," the lifestyle blogger and best-selling author admitted to Cosmopolitan. "I thought he would wait until he finished law school. He didn't even ask my friends [about the ring], which was a bold move. He said, 'I know you, and I know what you like.' And I love it. It's perfect."

Conrad has yet to announce a wedding date—but Feb. 14 seems perfect, doesn't it?
