Instagram, AKM-GSIJessica Simpson's mini-me daughter Maxwell is a true beauty!
The fashionista Instagrammed a sweet snap of her and fiancé Eric Johnson's 21-month-old with her hair and pigtails and a doll on her lap. She even captioned the shot from Maxwell's POV, writing, "My mom's thoughts for me... "Hi everyone! I know, I'm the cutest lil lady you ever did see."
Yep, we'd have to agree on that one! Jess and Eric's other child, 8-month-old Ace Knute, is quite a looker, too. But as cute as Jessica's kids are, she knows firsthand that parenting is hard work, too. "I now look at all moms as superheroes," she told E! News in December. "We are incredible, powerful women."
Jess admitted, too, that there were times she was too tough on herself over things like the weight she gained during pregnancy. She wrote a heartfelt guest post about this for Parents.com, explaining she wanted her daughter, in particular, "to know her value, rather than spending her energy fighting negative voices from within" and not see mom beating herself up "for things like food choices or numbers on a scale."
She shared these emotions to let other women "know that I'm going through a lot of the same things," she later told E! News. "There's a lot of things that you can get caught up in, especially in this industry, and that was a message from my heart that I needed to share."
These days Jess is looking svelte and fit thanks to her work with Weight Watchers, and the new mommy glow hasn't worn off, either!
