Whoever said Ross Mathews can only talk celebrities is soooo wrong!
Just in time for Throwback Thursday and the season 2 premiere of Hello Ross, we came across a hilarious video from the 2002 Winter Olympics that shows the pop culture junkie talking a pretty big game.
While on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, the famous intern is sent to Salt Lake City, Utah to report on a few winter sports. But instead of updating viewers on the biggest events, Ross wants to talk about his first appearance with Matt Lauer and Katie Couric.
"I had my first appearance on the Today show," Ross explains to the late-night host. "It was out of control, Jay. Out of control." Watch the clip for yourself to experience one of his many fangirl moments!
It was just one of the many hilarious moments in Ross' early career.
Whether losing weight with Maureen McCormick on Celebrity Fit Club or stirring the pot with Alison Sweeney on Days of Our Lives, Ross always earned the status of fan-favorite on whatever show he appeared on.
And we can't forget about when he hosted The View with former cohosts Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Talk about a throwback!
