It all started last April when the Thor: The Dark World actress popped up at the Iron Man 3 premiere with a choppy bob. At the time she documented her mane makeover on Twitter writing: "Back to short. #ChangeIsGood ;)" Then just one month later, the 29-year-old was ready to take off a few more inches, sharing: "haircut and highlights. #ChangeIsGood." We sense a theme here.
Finally this past January, after getting extensions temporarily, the star decided to lop off her bob. The actress posted a photo of her much-shorter pixie cut on her WhoSays page, with the caption: "New hair for a new show! #OPEN #HBO." So apparently change can be very good—especially when it comes in the form of a new role.
Still, the actress has yet to hit the red carpet with her new ‘do and it wasn't until yesterday—a full month after the haircut—that Alexander was spotted out and about with the fresh crop. Paparazzi captured her shopping at Saks Fifth Avenue in Beverly Hills pairing her short raven locks with a matching black top and oversize sunglasses.
