Rachel Zoe's got the whole working mom thing down pat!
The 42-year-old stylist needed to watch Oscar de La Renta's fall 2014 show at New York's Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, but she was unable to attend in person because she was busy with newborn baby Kai and 2-year-old son Skyler. So on Tuesday, she let 7-week-old Kai nap on her chest (as seen on Instagram) as she took in her fellow designer's "stunning" new collection.
Zoe's associate stylist Jordan Johnson joined her and baby Kai for the presentation in bed as well. The reason? There was "No wifi at the office." (It happens.)
It wasn't an easy choice for Zoe to stay back in L.A. and cancel her originally scheduled Feb. 13 show at New York's Lincoln Center. She told Women's Wear Daily she planned to show her fall 2014 line in L.A. at a later date, explaining, "As a new mother, my newborn son is too young to travel with me and I'm unable to leave him for the amount of time required to appropriately prepare for the show in New York."
Zoe assured fans she looks forward "to being back on the NYFW calendar in September."
And luckily for her, it seems Kai is pretty cool with mom multitasking!
