Brandi Glanville comes off as a woman of few secrets. But as it turns out, there's always something left to divulge!

E! News exclusively caught up with the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star to chat about her new memoir, Drinking & Dating, and we just had to ask what the deal was with the thinly veiled references to the men in her life.

"I put them in, trust me! I put them in and my editor took them out," Brandi said regarding the pseudonyms such as "Marty, the Movie Star" and "NBA Player" that she used to discuss the flings she had before and after marriage to Eddie Cibrian. (He got to keep his name.)

"They had to [change the names] for legal reasons," Brandi continued. "So I can't say who they actually are...I really can't! I don't want to get in trouble. For once I have to keep my big mouth shut."

She acknowledged, of course, that her fake names were easy to figure out—and that the guys probably wouldn't have much trouble cracking her code, either!

"The guys who I've dated know exactly who they are," Brandi said. "That's why I'm going to try to keep the book from them as long as I can!"

Meaning, no free copies, fellas.

"They're going to have to go out and buy it themselves," she added.

Asked why she decided to write a second book, Brandi explained, "The first book [Drinking and Tweeting: And Other Brandi Blunders] was about my divorce. This is about the next chapter of my life. Being 41, having two kids and dating. It's really hard you know. I don't bring men around my kids. The only one that's met them is J.R. [Jonathan Ruiz] and they've only met him as my real estate agent not as someone I'm dating."

Right now, Brandi said, she's "single and dating."

"Now I just need someone to have sex with," she cracked, joking that she's dating her hairdresser, Mark. "He's so amazing, he's my gay companion."

But "isn't it always complicated?" Brandi added. "Honestly, I'm dating my work. I have so many things going on and I'm just really busy trying to secure a future for myself and my kids."

As for her two sons with her ex-husband, the 41-year-old reality-TV star recently had to laugh off rumors that LeAnn Rimes was urging her hubby to try to get primary custody of the kids, citing Brandi's big mouth.

"I see them at soccer and baseball," Brandi told us regarding LeAnn and Eddie. "I say hello and they say hi, and that's it."

We asked if she would consider things to be calm between them.

"Calm?" she replied. "Uh, yeah. It's calm."
